As an anchor tenant in the new 833 East Building, Godfrey & Kahn occupied the top three floors of the building and were looking to expand down to the seventh floor. The goal of the tenant improvement was to continue the modern, sophisticated look for the new office while still allowing for greater flexbility.
The new headquarters foster an organizational culture change with more openness and collaboration to attract and retain the best staff. An open office layout, multiple conference rooms, and designated collaboration zones offer a variety of spaces employee meetings and work. Providing natural daylight throughout was a major requirement and is incorporated by glass-front offices. The final design is an environment that rejuvenates and energizes the brand while still respecting their esteemed history.
